On June 16, 2026, GALAXEA (Beijing) Artificial Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd., a portfolio company of JUMBO SHEEN FUND, successfully hosted the 2026 Global Developers Conference in Yizhuang, Beijing. The event gathered half of China’s partners across the entire embodied intelligence industrial chain, emerging as a landmark high-profile gathering for the sector. Our President Wang Jun attended the conference as an invited guest to witness GALAXEA unveil landmark achievements in three core tracks: large models, humanoid robots and industrial data ecosystems. He also gained first-hand insight into the brand-new wave propelling China’s embodied intelligence industry toward general-purpose and ecosystem-driven development.
The year 2026 is regarded by the industry as a critical watershed for the development of embodied intelligence. Competition in this sector has long moved beyond superficial rivalry over individual robot units, shifting toward a contest of comprehensive strength covering data, models and industrial ecosystems. As the only domestic embodied intelligence enterprise that owns both top-tier large models and state-of-the-art robot bodies simultaneously, GALAXEA fully unveiled groundbreaking progress across its three core fronts of models, robot hardware and data at this conference. Three Groundbreaking Hard Tech Achievements Unveiled, Delivering Dual Breakthroughs in Software and Hardware Strength
In terms of intelligent models, GALAXEA’s new-generation foundational VLA model G0.5 delivers remarkable performance. Built on a unified autoregressive VLA architecture, it natively features action cognition that enables "reasoning while acting", and accumulates transferable basic motion primitives including grasping, placing, pushing and pulling. Up to now, G0.5 has successively set new records on seven globally authoritative benchmarks, ranking among the world’s top tier and claiming the No.1 spot domestically, serving as the core "brain" powering autonomous robotic operations.
Complementing the G0.5 model, the Fast-WAM world model specializes in boosting action response efficiency, with single-step inference latency as low as 190 milliseconds. It accelerates overall robotic reaction speed by over four times, effectively resolving prevalent industrial pain points such as delayed robot movements and failed task execution.
Within the robot hardware segment, GALAXEA unveiled its self-developed biped humanoid robot Kengo, filling the final gap in full-body manipulation capabilities. Kengo boasts robust motion performance with a single joint torque exceeding 130N·m, capable of smoothly executing sophisticated maneuvers including consecutive four kicks, object handover and clothes folding. Its bipedal design is compatible with most existing real-world environments, drastically cutting costs for site reconstruction, while offering an ideal carrier to validate model performance on complex tasks. With the launch of Kengo, GALAXEA has fully closed its strategic loop of "premier large models + top-tier robot hardware".
Anchor Core Data Moats,Redefine the New Commercial Paradigm of Embodied Intelligence
Industry consensus confirms that massive, high-quality physical interaction data from real-world environments constitutes the core moat for the long-term development of embodied intelligence. Unlike the mature data ecosystem built for the internet, embodied intelligence has yet to form a complete data infrastructure, and simulation data cannot fully substitute the value of operation data collected from real scenarios.
Previously, GALAXEA open-sourced the GOD Dataset, the world’s first open dataset for embodied manipulation. It has surpassed 600,000 global downloads and earned wide acclaim within the open-source community. At this conference, GALAXEA partnered with Yizhuang, Beijing to launch Yishu Intelligence, unveiling a landmark initiative to accumulate one million hours of ultra-high-quality real physical data. The project targets the completion of one million hours of real data by 2026, with a roadmap to scale up to ten million hours within the next three years.
During the conference, Gao Jiyang, CEO of GALAXEA, put forward the Theory of Three-Stage Evolution Curves for embodied intelligence, clearly defining three major developmental phases of the sector. Based on industry development laws, GALAXEA holds the view that embodied intelligence will not witness a "GPT Moment" akin to large language models. The industry will penetrate gradually from B-end scenarios, achieving steady deployment and incremental qualitative breakthroughs across manufacturing, smart warehousing, commercial services, scientific research and other vertical sectors.
Furthermore, GALAXEA predicted the evolutionary path of industry business models: a gradual shift from traditional complete robot hardware sales to scenario-based subscription services, ultimately advancing to token-based metered billing. Instead of focusing solely on hardware sales, the company prioritizes building universal foundational capabilities for embodied intelligence and practices the philosophy of One Brain, Multiple Embodiments — enabling a unified intelligent system to adapt to diverse hardware forms including wheeled robots, bipedal humanoids and dexterous grippers, thereby constructing shared foundational infrastructure for the entire industry.
